Police in riot gear stormed a rally on Friday, removing hundreds of protesters by truck.  Mahadev Bajagain, mayor of Lamkichuha, said that the municipality was serious about investigating the incident and taking action against those involved.


It has been alleged that the anarchist group also attacked the ward office, DFO, D and the health workers even though they started searching for the accused.  Bajagain has also urged the locals and protesters to help Hari in investigating the incident.  Hari had arrested 22-year-old Kishor Pariyar, 20-year-old Laxman BK and 18-year-old Surgeon BK from the quarantine of Shaheed Smriti Mavic in Lamkichuha Municipality-1 on Friday on the charge of being involved in the incident.  Among those arrested are juvenile health workers and volunteers.  Others have also been reported to be volunteers at KwaRentin.
